PENNY RUN

Forest Pack, we have a great new feature for you! Our new charity running event is called the PENNY Run and it will not only warm your hearts but also your running shoes!

The PENNY Run has no time limit, so everyone can join in - from young forest animals, experienced runners to parents with strollers, or brave forest veterans. With a 4 to 6-kilometer route, it's the perfect opportunity to spend Saturday in the forests, and most importantly, contribute 350 CZK to a good cause.

And who will we be helping this time with PENNY in the forest?

ŽIVOT 90 ORGANIZATION

You know, forest pack, each of us should be entitled to a dignified old age. The Life 90 Organization is dedicated to this very idea - it provides assistance, care, and support to seniors so they can lead a meaningful and independent life. They are like forest guides, shining a light on the path when needed, and they are there for those who need them.

Services

Senior Telefon: A round-the-clock helpline for our seniors and their caregivers. Just give us a call, and we're here for you. Nationwide coverage completely free of charge. In 2023, the hotline was used by over 10,000 callers.
Emergency Care: A security system (emergency button, motion sensor, and contact speaker) for a peaceful life in your home. Regardless of the time - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our own emergency response service.
Community Center: A space for meeting, learning, and sharing experiences. Everyone can find something here. A hub for cultural events, educational activities, lectures, and workshops for seniors in the center of Prague (up to 50 courses ranging from language, IT, to exercise or painting).
Advisory Center: Assistance with legal and social matters. Always available, free of charge by appointment. In 2023, the service was used by over 2,000 clients.
Volunteer Center: A heart full of goodwill, ready to help and listen. Friendly visits to seniors or phone calls with seniors from trained and verified volunteers. Free of charge.

The aim of the Organization is not only to support the independence of older people but also to help them enjoy life to the fullest, regardless of circumstances.
