About Běhej lesy and Rules
The second decade of Běhej lesy running series is here. Thank you for being with us for the eleventh time! This season will once again bring us to eight beautiful locations across the country. Each race offers a choice of routes around 5, 10, or 20 kilometers, with two locations featuring ultra-long routes over 40 km to challenge the most resilient runners. As always, Dr. Max children’s races will welcome our youngest participants. The forest adventure awaits every generation and the whole family.

They will follow the instructions of the organizer and event services.

In case of particularly serious violations of the Code's rules, the organizer reserves the right to prohibit such participants from participating in future races of the series. If a disqualified participant had already paid the entry fee for subsequent races at the time of disqualification, this fee is forfeited in favor of the Run the Forests organizer, who will use it at their discretion, especially but not exclusively, to compensate for damages caused by violating the Code and to purchase prizes for winners of children's categories. Disqualification does not absolve the participant of personal liability for damages to injured parties resulting from their violation of the Code.

An official request can be sent by email (info@sportid.cz) no later than 3 days before the race start, or in person at the race venue at the information desk no later than 30 minutes before the start of children's races. Late requests will not be considered, and the participant can only participate in the race in their category.
- Any shortening of the race course is prohibited.
- Support in the form of a cyclist, scooter, or other means of transportation carrying food/drinks or other supplies for the participant is strictly prohibited throughout the entire course.
- The use of roller skates, trekking poles, bicycles, or other means of transportation throughout the entire course, as well as running with a dog or stroller, is strictly prohibited. The exception is the charitable PENNY run, which allows participation with a stroller, and ultra-long routes in Jizerská 50 and Lednice, where the use of trekking poles is permitted.
- If parents physically assist their children in completing the race (holding hands, pulling the child to the finish line, etc.), a 20-second penalty will be added to the participant's time, and potential disqualification from the results list may occur.
- Runners who do not finish the race within the time limit, which is 2.5 hours for shorter routes and 3 hours for longer routes, may be excluded from the race by the organizer or a person authorized by them. After returning the race number, they may continue but must comply with the rules of the road traffic law. - You can register for the team competition no later than Wednesday before the race.
- It will not be possible to create or modify teams on-site during registration.
- If one of you fails to finish the race in the Tandem competition, you will be disqualified. In Slowmotion teams, only the times of those participants who complete the race are counted.
HOW TO SIGN UP?
Tandem - for pairs
The rules of Tandem are simple. Form a team consisting of a man and a woman in any mutual relationship (e.g., friend - friend, partner - partner, husband - wife, father - daughter, mother - son, colleague - colleague, classmate - classmate) and decide who will run the longer route and who the shorter one. The pair with the lowest combined time wins. Participants in the Tandem team competition are also evaluated in the individual race. More detailed rules can be found below.
First, each team member must register and pay the entry fee at sportid.online. Then, you create a Tandem/team in the "My Registrations" tab in your account and invite friends or accept invitations to join the Tandem or team. Tandem or team can be open (no confirmation required) or closed (by request).
RULES FOR THE TANDEM CATEGORY
- Teams in the Tandem competition may consist of a pair of athletes of opposite genders in any mutual relationship (e.g., friend - friend, husband - wife).
- Both members of the team must be over 15 years old.
- Each member of the pair runs a different course of the race, i.e., one runs the longer route (e.g., 22 km), the other the shorter route (e.g., 10 km).
- If both members of the Tandem team run the same course of the race, they will be disqualified from the Tandem team competition, and their ranking will only count in the individual race.
- If one member of the Tandem team fails to finish the race, the team will be disqualified from the Tandem team competition. The athletes will be evaluated individually in the individual race.
- Athletes in the Tandem team competition are simultaneously evaluated in the individual race.
- The ranking in the Tandem team competition is determined by the total time of both athletes.
- The goal is to achieve the lowest total time.
Prizes
- The first three pairs in the Tandem team competition will be awarded.
The deadline for registration
- Participants can sign up for the Tandem team competition on the race website until online registrations close, which is the Wednesday before the race.
- Sign-ups for the Tandem team competition are not possible on-site.
Team modifications
- Modifications of team compositions for the Tandem competition can be made until registration closes, i.e., 5 days before the race.
- The composition of pairs for the Tandem team competition cannot be modified on-site.
Slowmotion - for larger teams
The goal of Slowmotion teams is to form the largest group possible. Each of you chooses the route that suits you best. Unlike Tandem, the aim here is to have the highest combined time. It's not necessary to run the race route as slowly as possible; the significant factor is to have as many team members as possible. The advantage is that there is no limit to the number of team members. More detailed rules can be found below.
RULES FOR THE SLOMOTION CATEGORY
- The number of team members for the Slowmotion team is not limited.
- In the Slowmotion team competition, all participants must be at least 15 years old.
- Individual members of the team can choose any route, whether it be longer or shorter (participants on the ultra-long routes within the Běhej Lesy Brdy, Železná Ruda, Jizerská, and Lednice races are not eligible for the competition).
- If one or more team members fail to finish the Slowmotion race, the team is NOT disqualified. Only the times of the team members who finish within the time limit for completion will be counted in the results.
- Participants in the Slowmotion team competition are also evaluated in the individual race.
- The ranking in the Slowmotion team competition is determined by the sum of all team members' times.
- The team with the highest sum of achieved times wins.
- Thus, it is not necessary to run the race route as slowly as possible; the significant factor is also the highest number of team members.
Prizes
- The prize will be awarded to one team that achieves the highest total of the recorded times.
The deadline for registration
- Participants can register for the Slowmotion team competition on the race website until registration closes, which is on the Wednesday before the race.
- It is not possible to register for the Slowmotion team competition on-site.
Team modifications
- Teams for the Slowmotion competition can be adjusted until registration closes, which is on the Wednesday before the race.
- The composition of teams for the Slowmotion competition cannot be adjusted on-site.

[roleta = THE EVALUATION OF THE BĚHEJ LESY RACES - Lesů pán/Lesů paní, close, #a0a064]
-
Each runner who completes the race will be awarded points for their performance, contributing to the overall series standings. Winners of individual races will receive 2,000 points. The last finisher will receive one point. Other finishers will be awarded points based on their finishing times, decreasing proportionally. For example, a runner who finishes in the middle of the results list will receive 1,000 points.
-
The top twenty finishers in each race will receive additional bonus points. Winners will receive an extra 200 points, with points decreasing proportionally so that the 20th finisher receives an additional 20 points. These points are added to the overall standings.
-
In the overall rankings for Lesů pán and Lesů paní, only the best 6 results out of 8 races will be counted. If a runner participates in more than 6 races, only their best 6 results will be counted. Lesů pán a Lesů paní are newly introduced at the Penny Run, as well as on the Nova short course and the ČSOB long course. Points for the ranking are counted separately, and points from the short and long courses cannot be combined. Extra-long courses will no longer have a separate ranking, but participants who compete in them will be included in the ranking for the long courses.
-
Results from the Běhej Lesy Týmovka are also included in the standings. The longest loop from the team race is counted towards the short routes, while the sum of the best times on all loops from the team race is counted towards the long routes.

Every runner who participates in all eight Běhej lesy races in one season earns the title of "Osmerák." The coronation of the Osmerák takes place at the last race, and the holders are entitled to a special gold number throughout the following season.
If you missed any race but still want to earn the Osmerák title, you have the option to participate in the Běhej lesmi race in Slovakia. You can replace any two races.
OSMERÁCI
For completing a race in both the winter and summer Jizerská 50 in one year, you will receive a scoring.
- The basis is the percentile of your placement among men or women, expressing how many percent of participants (men and women separately) achieved a worse result on the given track than you did.
- The percentile is multiplied by the coefficient for the length of the track.
- The percentile is calculated to two decimal places.
Coefficients Jizerská 50
- 50 km = 1
- 25 km, 30 km = 0,8
- 17 km = 0,7
- 10 km = 0,6
Coefficients Běhej lesy Jizerská
- 50 km = 1,1
- 23 km = 0,9
- 11 km = 0,7
The percentile multiplied by the coefficient for the respective track gives the point score in one race. The overall result is the sum of points from both races (Jizerská 50 and Běhej lesy Jizerská).
The winner is the participant with the highest achieved point score.
- First place is announced in both the women's and men's categories.
- In case of a tie in points, the participant who ran the longer distance wins.
- If you ran multiple races within one Jizerská 50 event, the race with the better point score is counted.
Example:
John ran the 25 km route in winter and finished 268th among men. A total of 900 men completed this route. John's base percentile is 70.22 (he placed better than 70.22% of participants). The coefficient for the 25 km route is 0.8. Therefore, his point score from winter is 70.22 x 0.8 = 56.18.
In summer, John ran the 12 km route and finished 85th out of 620 men. His percentile is 86.29. The coefficient for the 12 km route is 0.7, and his point score from summer is 86.29 x 0.7 = 60.40.
John obtained a total of 116.58 points in the King of Jizerské competition.
